Our Story
Looking back, it almost feels impossible that our story didn't start sooner.
Growing up in neighboring New Jersey towns with overlapping friends, family, and countless mutual connections, we had been crossing paths for years without ever realizing we were slowly becoming part of each other's story. Google Photos has since confirmed what we somehow missed. There we were at parties, birthdays, and gatherings dating back years, always in the same place, just never at the right time.
Then, in November 2021, one Snapchat friend request changed everything.
Maybe it was fate, maybe it was the beginning of the infamous invisible string finally pulling a little tighter, but from that moment on came the awkward run-ins, endless conversations, and Justin's very patient pursuit. Jill was moving to Florida after graduating from Penn State and was determined not to make things complicated... except for talking to Justin 24/7.
She finally gave in to one date in April 2022. Eleven days later, Justin drove to Penn State, and from that point on, there was no turning back.
We spent every possible weekend together before Jill's move to Florida, survived a year of long distance through countless FaceTimes and frequent flights, and eventually accepted one undeniable truth: you can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey out of the girl.
Jill moved back home, we began building our life together in Morristown in August of 2023, and continued spending some of our happiest days at the Jersey Shore. On May 8th, 2026, while walking along the beach before one of our favorite dinners, Justin got down on one knee as a plane flew overhead waving a banner asking, "Jillian, Will You Marry Me? Love, Justin." Moments later, both of our families surprised us on the beach to celebrate one of the happiest days of our lives.
When we first visited Crystal Point Yacht Club, it instantly reminded us of everything we love most: the water, the boats, the Shore, and so many of our favorite memories together. It felt like the perfect place to begin our next chapter, and we can't wait to celebrate it with all of you.
